The Founder: Martina Siara

Martina_Siara Inspired by her mother who used to receive and help poor people, vulnerable children and elders, Martina Siara grew up with the same heart to help the poor. She gave shelter to young girls who had given birth below the age of 18 years and had nowhere to get help. Martina Siara supported them by counseling and providing them with important life-skills. Martina Siara facilitated young girls classes on tailoring, cooking, health education, English, and mathematics for more than 10 years. Another 10 years she worked with Help to Self Help Vocational Training Center (HSH). In 2006, Martina Siara started Faraja Center with some of her family members, neighbors and others friends to support victims of human trafficking, young single mothers and girls who are at risk of early marriages who need assistance. She provided them with basic business skills, which can help them to initiate self reliant projects after graduating from Faraja Center.
